Motorcycle crashes into fire truck in Daytona Beach, police say
DAYTONA BEACH, Florida. – A motorcyclist ran a red light and rammed a fire truck in Daytona Beach on Wednesday, police say.
The Daytona Beach Police Department said the accident happened on Clyde Morris Boulevard near Mayberry Avenue near the Halifax Hospital.

The department said the motorcyclist struck the front driver’s side of the fire truck as it turned onto a green arrow.
Police said firefighters got out of the truck to help the motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, and transported him to hospital in Halifax on a trauma alert.
Firefighters were not injured in the crash, police said.
